Terms of service

These terms apply to the coaching institute that opens an account on Apneeds and to any user - owner, administrator, teacher, student or parent - who accesses the platform under that account.

Apneeds is a hosted platform. Access is provided as a service on the plan the institute has selected. The platform is offered as-is, subject to reasonable service availability and the responsibilities set out here.

The platform may not be used to upload or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory or that infringes third-party rights. Attempts to access data belonging to another institute, to disrupt the platform, to bypass technical controls, or to scrape data in bulk without authorisation are not permitted.

The institute retains all rights to the content it or its users upload - notes, quizzes, worked examples, fee records, rosters and similar material. By using the platform, the institute grants us a limited licence to host, process and display that content strictly to operate the platform on the institute’s behalf.

Aggregate and de-identified information generated by platform usage may be used by us to operate, secure and improve the platform. This does not include the underlying identifiable content of any student, parent or teacher.

The platform includes AI-generated explanations, plans and messages. These outputs draw on the institute’s own material where available. They are useful but not infallible. The institute remains responsible for reviewing outputs that will be sent to parents or used to take material actions.

Institute plans are billed on the cycle chosen at onboarding. Fees for a paid cycle are non-refundable once the cycle has begun, except where required by law. Where usage - for example outbound SMS or WhatsApp - is billed at pass-through, that usage is shown in advance on the account.

Non-public information exchanged between the institute and us during onboarding, support and general operation is treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of running the service.

We work to keep the platform available continuously, subject to planned maintenance windows and events beyond our reasonable control. Support scope depends on the plan in force, as described on the Pricing page.

Either side may terminate access at the end of the current billing cycle with reasonable notice. We may terminate immediately in the event of a material breach of these terms. On termination, the institute may export its data within a defined window before it is deleted.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability in connection with the platform is limited to the fees paid by the institute for the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the seat of the operating team.

Material changes will be communicated to institute administrators. Continued use of the platform after such a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
